Fourth of July

Happy Belated 4th! We stayed at home this year and enjoyed backyard pool and sprinkler fun. After living in our house for 6 years and spending 5 of those years walking 45 minutes to the fireworks, we realized that you can see the fireworks perfectly from our backyard (which we learned when we were forced to stay home with Luke last year). So we had some friends over, had a pot luck dinner and enjoyed our evening with Luke sound asleep.
Luke finished swimming lessons last week. It was more like playtime but he seemed to like it and has NO fear of the water. He will even let us dunk him with no crying.

This is a very cheap sprinkler/ball machine thing. Luke learned that you put the balls inside and they shoot out the top . It worked for about 3 minutes and broke.

Cool shark hat. He wore it for about 3 minutes...

Cooper and Anji were all decked out for the 4th. About 1 minute after this picture was taken Coop spit up all over Anji, his flag and lei. I guess we wasn't feeling too patriotic.
