Ellen, Rusty and Clark Griswold...we strategically placed our trip to coincide with nap time for the little one.
Teddy Grahams are awesome! So is being able to reach into the bag and grab 15 at time, then shove them all in your mouth. We had just stopped to let Luke run around so we was sweaty, but happy to have a snack. BTW we were not driving when this picture was taken.
At least the pool was nice where we stayed. This was our view with the beach in the distance.
Luke on the balcony checking for any good looking 1 year olds in the swimming pool.
Getting ready for dinner, this is what Luke looks like at the beach--shirt unbuttoned, standing as close to the air conditioner as possible. He really loved that air conditioner...
This giant bed is fun!!
Waiting for the elevator. Another of Luke's favorite things on the trip. It made a dinging sound on every floor and he found it hilarious.
First time in the ocean. Todd had to take him out because I don't get in brown water. He loved it though...no fear.
Don't let go of the bucket son!
Dinner at Rainforest Cafe.
In the bar, he liked the bubbles but I couldn't resist this photo op. Looks like the duck is birthing Luke.
This place is fun and I look evil!
Family pic. I think we have a photo bomber...
So tired after a day at the beach, pool and Rainforest!
Getting ready to leave, helping dad fold up the portable crib.
On our way out of town we stopped at The Strand a shopping area that is really old and near the cruise ship terminal. Luke found some steps leading to a stage and giant puddle.
I love water.
Don't worry Luke it is not like you have to sit in those clothes for the next 5 hours in a car seat. There is NO reasoning with a 1 year old. FYI we took the shorts off for the drive.
When we stopped to get gas we let Luke out to walk around. As we were chasing him around Todd looked behind the gas station and saw this...
Creepy, creepy and more creepy. It reminded me of Bill's house if you are a fan of True Blood and Todd compared it to Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Needless to say, if it had been dark outside we would have gotten right back in the car and been on our way. Since it was daylight I felt it appropriate to take pictures.
