Ode to Indiana...

Here are a random sample of pictures, some taken from my cell phone (mental note-must remember to keep camera close by and battery charged).

This is a picture I stole from my cousin's Facebook page (thanks Kim). It is my Grandma Mercer (mom's mom) and my aunt Terri. I LOVE seeing these older photos of my family. It reminds me that they were here having a good time before all us "kids" came along.

Luke and I tried something new on Wednesday. First we went swimming in the tiny pool. Then we made a pile of pillows, put on A Bug's Life and ate a snack while we lounged around. This activity actually lasted WAAAY longer than I thought it would. He sat still for about 14 minutes before getting up to feed Kona his snack...Check out the cool Indiana basketball outfit. Courtesy of Aunt Rhea (thank you!). He looked so cute, but then a blow-out caused us to have to change clothes

The little guy was having some stomach issues (see blow-out story above) and during some snuggle time he fell asleep. He layed on the chair for about an hour sleeping before I put him to bed. This reminds me of when he was a newborn and we would always nap together on the big chair. Maybe he remembers that? Doubt it.

One more from our trip to Galveston. That shark is quite the traveller. It was purchased in Siesta Key, Florida, came to Bedford as a souvenier for Luke, and has now seen the beaches of Galveston. I imagine the shark is saying "take me back home."

His own personal lawn chair at Grandma and Grandpa's house. He likes to sit in it for about 30 seconds and then tries to climb it.
