Last Day of Babysitting

Today was the last day for Luke's Nanny Brumleve to babysit him this summer (she watched him while I helped out a couple of days each week at work). He showed up bright and early with some flowers and a card on the doorstep to say thank you. (Trying to raise a gentleman, you know).

Of course, when Papa answered the door he got a big smile, but we had to have a redo to make sure Nanny got the same effect...and so she could go get the camera and take a picture.


Just so happened that Muncle Brian (you know how my dad is with nicknames...just go with it) was in town and got to hang out with Luke too!

Muncle Brian, are we cool dudes? Yes Luke we sure are!

Napping with Papa. When I see this picture I am worried that Luke might not be comfortable or warm enough. I see at least 3 pillows surrounding the child and about 3 layers of covers. Nanny and Papa take good care of the boy.
