Here is Luke (firmly planted in his old man stage) sitting in the BIMBO or BUMBO we nicknamed it one or the other can't remember which. This is probably one of the 5 times we actually used this.
This weekend we were VERY busy getting ready for Luke's first birthday party. We said we weren't going to make a big fuss over it since he won't remember and I think we have done a pretty good job keeping it low key, but we did so much preparation for it this weekend it feels like we were planning a wedding. Okay not really... but close. He was a trooper through shopping trips to Party City, Toys R Us (that was fun for the who family), Sam's and Tom Thumb. Even though he won't remember the party, I hope he will absorb all the loving vibes from everyone and know how much his parents have enjoyed him everyday this past year. And if not I will just remind him year after year when he is old enough to remember. Despite our weekend of errands I still had time to snap some pictures...

Tried to take some action photos since my video function isn't working. Sorry this is so blurry but it shows Luke walking across the kitchen. I am almost ready to say he is officially walking but he still falls from time to time!
Mom these stools really need to go on the other side of the kitchen. Do I have to do everything around here?
