Updates, shmupdates...

These are from our vacation to California way back in June/July! We had a great trip visiting Todd's family, here we are on the chair lift at Big Bear Mountain.

Don't worry Nanny, he was holding on very tight.

We made it to the top! Here we are with Grandpa Dennis and Eileen.

I had never been on a real mountain before and took WAY too many pictures that look just like this...let's just take a minute to smell the fresh air and feel crisp breeze in our hair.

And then this happened...

As he did many times on this trip, Luke took over the camera...eat your heart out Vanna White.

Luke made a friend at the Visitor's Center.

Legend has it that a little girl gave a high pressure sell to get Todd to buy this snake (it is not real) from the gift shop...those kids these days really have each other's back.

This is Long Beach where there just happened to be a Pirate Festival the weekend we stayed there.

This slide was very hot according to Luke, he does look extra uncomfortable.

I have no idea who this is but he seems really friendly.

This is how I felt after walking around the zoo all day.

This is how I felt when the airline changed our seating arrangements on the way home.

I guess I can't say we walked the whole day because despite being outside, the zoo has many escalators. Luke provided entertainment lest we be bored on the ride to the top

This lion was chomping on some kind of large bone. It was horrible, I looked away but still heard the "crunch, crunch."

Hey, hey you there...I'm over here behind the wall... Any chance you could spare some snacks?
