Rewind...

It looks like my computer is going to cooperate tonight! This is my "catch up" post and everything afterward will be current! So rewind back to April...
We thought we were going to close on our house but due to lender/bank incompetence we didn't. We were already in Florida for the weekend when we found out the closing fell through, so this is as close as we got to our new house...(more pics to come)
We ended up being beach bums all weekend, which happened to be my birthday, so it was a nice vacation.

Me, Steph, Todd and Jeff at Nokomis Beach
We arrived back in Texas on Easter Sunday and had an egg hunt for Luke.

Just a little nude Facebooking...admit it, you do it too!
Our friends Timm and Sally got married in April and Todd was a groomsmen. It was a great night and we are so happy for them. Todd and Mike look a little suspicious (probably not a good idea to put them together).

Hello Mr. Ragas
Allison and I enjoying what looks like iced tea. Don't get crazy...
Todd off groomsman duty.
Our friends Colin and Katie had a going away party for us the last weekend of April. The food, drinks and company were wonderful. Here are Tim and Allison holding Baby Claire (Colin and Katie's daughter) what a cutie pie!

Luke took over Conner's "bike" and Nanny helped him drive around.

Gram, Mom and Jen toasting to the Ragas Clan getting out of Texas (just kidding).

Birthday Boy!!! Luke turned 2 on May 6th! We celebrated by going to Babe's Fried Chicken Restaurant.

Everyone got to join our little guy for dinner. His grandparents and great grandparents all the way from Indiana!

Staying up way past his bedtime Luke enjoyed opening up some presents. Don't pay any attention to the Christmas wrapping paper, we were living out of suitcases at this point.

Love this picture of Mark and Debbie hands on hips and Brian in the middle. So perfect...

For Luke's party we had farm animals come to Nanny and Papa's backyard. This rabbit was an escape artist. Wish I could post the sequence of the rabbit getting out, hopping around the yard while my mom and Todd chase, and my dad yells how to capture it.
You can see that Debbie/Nanny finally caught it.
Luke's friend Austin liked hanging out with the goats.

My friend Amy acting every bit the child/animal whisperer as she helps Austin stay on the pony. Papa and Luke. Ride em cowboy!
Conner was really excited about the animals or getting his picture taken.
Kai and Nadia with the pony.

Cooper choking...er checking out the animals.

Luke's cousin Raymond hitching a ride.
Blowing out the candles with Daddy.

Luke's birthday party was the same weekend as Mother's Day and we were lucky enough to have all of Luke's great grandparents over for dinner along with grandparents. We took the opportunity to take generation pictures...
Luke, Papa, Great Grandma Brumleve and Mom

Luke, Nanny, Great Grandpa and Grandma Mercer, and Mom

Luke, Grandpa and Grandma Simm, Gram, and Dad

My favorite picture...Luke and his Great Grandparents!! FYI, it is just as hard to get grandparents to look at the camera as it is 2 year olds.
