Grand Cayman Part 2

Okay Blogspot...you are not making me happy tonight. This is part 2 of my post because the website is messed up and won't let me upload anything else. Part 1 to come later.

Over Spring Break we visited the tropical paradise that is Grand Cayman. Todd's mom and step dad were brave enough to invite one VERY, VERY 2 year old (yes I am using 2 as an adjective) and two exhausted parents (who were seriously ready for a vacation...have I mentioned we are in the process of selling/buying/moving/working/packing/planning/parenting?) The pictures to follow are from the ending portion of the wonderful trip.

Leaving the Turtle Farm. I feel kind of spoiled...this wasn't even a scenic destination just the view from the parking lot.

Judy and I went to get massages and upon returning met Freddie the Free Diver. He free dives to 100 ft and catches lobsters which he then offers to the tourists staying in the condos where we were. For $25 we enjoyed some delicious lobster tail to go with our hot dogs (serious). Judy and I did not want anything to do with killing the crustacean and Todd and Mike had never cooked lobster before so Freddie came right in and gave the guys a lesson in boiling fresh seafood.

This is just bad karma...

Relax Luke you are on vacation.

Like father, like son...Todd wouldn't let me post any of his diaper pics.

On one of our last days on the island we drove to a place called Rum Point. When you think of paradise this is it. White sand beaches, clear water, hammocks in the trees, beachside restaurant. It was beautiful...

This was the shady cove where we set up camp for the morning.

Luke loved this lizard.

How do you spend your vacation with a 2 year old? Running after him as he takes off down this pier... Over and over and over and over and over again.

Eating at Casanova's. Just beyond the table was a beautiful view of the water. I guess it was too dark when we took the picture.

Todd and Luke playing at the public beach.

Group photo. Why are we all squating down?

We ate at a very kid friendly restaurant, The Reef Grill, for our last night. They had a huge sand pile and stage to play on. Needless to say Luke loved it and danced all around the platform while all 4 adults yelled at him to be careful not to fall off...

He clearly wasn't ready to stop the performance so Todd had to interfere.
