Mommy Fail Today

Today is Luke's scheduled Gymboree Class day. We haven't been in a couple of weeks because I was working and we were in Austin. So I get up this morning, we go for our normal walk with Stephen and Cooper then head off to Gymboree. I bring my camera along to capture all the wonderful things Luke is going to do and go so far as to take this lovely photo of SUV heaven in the parking lot. We walk in to find out we are 45 minutes late and class is pretty much over. Has anyone else tried to take a 15 month old out of the funnest place ever and put them back into a car seat??? Not fun. So I promise we will go back for open gym at 5:30. When we arrive at 5:30 we unload, walk to the door and find a sign stating that Gymboree is expectantly closed for the evening. Reload 15 month old into car, disappointment sets in, crying all the way home...mommy fail!!!!

This is just a section of the parking lot that was literally FULL of SUV'S. I was obviously impressed and a little embarrassed that I added yet another to the bunch.


To compensate for our lack of Gymboree time I took Luke to the Boys Ranch Park and he climbed and climbed and climbed while I sweated and sweated and sweated.

I don't stay in one place for more than 7 seconds.

Luke doesn't share the big blue dog. I repeat Luke doesn't share the big blue dog. Check out the lengths he goes through to make sure that not 1 millimeter of that stuffed animal is touching the dog...then he calmly rides it!!

Kids don't try this at home...times are hard this is how the Ragas Family entertains themselves.

This is really dark but it illustrates the deep love Kona has for Luke. You can see his little head and her ferocious teeth and that is all you need to know. No children or animals were hurt during the filming.
