On January 31 our friends Timm and Sally got engaged. It was a great night- all orchestrated by Timm. He invited about 30 people to Texas de Brazil in downtown Fort Worth to surprise Sally. Here are the guys.

Obviously...she said yes.

And now here is Luke eating his first chocolate chip cookie. Looks appetizing right?! It occured to me that letting your 8 month old eat chocolate is probably not the best parenting decision so shortly after the picture I traded the cookie out for a teething biscuit.

Congratulations to the Webbs. They are our neighbors who just had a baby! Anyway, little Cooper surprised us and came early (we were trying to coordinate a "last dinner out" with Anji and Stephen via email at the same time the text arrived that she was actually in labor). The interesting thing is that Cooper was born in the same room Luke was born in at Baylor Grapevine. We bombarded the hospital room when Anji was in labor and couldn't resist taking some pics of Luke next to all the equipment that was used for his birth.
